Weekly Play: Oops

This weekend is Officially Catch-Up-On-Everything-Weekend!

I know it's only week 4. I know I'm old enough to know better. I know I'm an adult now and should be on top of things like homework... It is, I do, I'm not. :(

*SIGH*

Despite these things, I've fallen behind. So, I do apologize to all of you, considering your Twitter feeds are about to blow up.

  1. I know you're joking about blowing up Twitter feeds, and that gives me a good chance to remind everyone about something that I love about this class: It's not about turning in assignments to me. It's about being an active and constructive part of a learning community. The reason that assignments are spread out over days and weeks is so that everyone can engage ideas that are flowing through the "stream" that we're creating together.

I'm really looking forward to the chance for all of us to learn more about your perspectives on the conversations we're having. And a central goal of this class is to actively learn: How do I contribute to the network in constructive and helpful ways?

That means that we think about timing, engaging others, and always, always thinking about this all as dialogue, not monologue.

That's what makes learning in networks work!
